Did you leave it on the blanket, or simply forget it in your hand during a conversation? Maybe you liked it and can already picture it on your shelf at home, or you just didn’t feel like returning your rented glass.
At Rosalia Wine Picnic, you can rent a glass and get your deposit back on your way out if you return it. But if you decide to keep it, this year it can support a truly meaningful cause. The deposit from unreturned glasses will be donated.
This time, we are supporting the Józsefváros Unified Special Education Methodological Institution and Primary School, where nearly 130 children learn with the help of dedicated professionals. For them, every small success requires more attention, more patience and more support. All of the students have special educational needs, including intellectually capable children with autism or other psychological developmental disorders, as well as children with mild intellectual disabilities. They learn in small groups, where every word and every reaction carries real weight, and where understanding the world often begins with connection.
But meaningful connection requires the right tools. Tools that capture attention, support understanding and build a bridge between students and teachers. Some of the school’s equipment is now outdated and limited, so this year we are raising funds for a new, modern interactive board that would make a real difference in everyday learning.
